Focalized psychotherapy

Individual, focalized, psychotherapy (a highly personalized form of what today it has become fashionable to refer to as coaching) is used to focus on one or two aspects of mental life that cause suffering (anxiety, sadness, or fears, that mobilize control mechanisms or avoidance mechanisms), and have a negative influence on relationship and personal development, and thus diminish one's sense of well-being. It is not the treatment of choice for everybody. It is often but not always time-limited.
